Paleos Panteleimon 

Paleos Panteleimon is a picturesque settlement in the prefecture of Pieria, which is protected by the European Union. You will find it at the slopes of Kato Olympus, at an altitude of 700 meters and you will enjoy its wonderful view on the Thermaic Gulf and the coast of South Pieria. The settlement is estimated to have been built around the 14th century while in the 1970s it was restored and reborn. Its beautiful streets, its restored stone mansions but also its rich flora and fauna, offer the visitor unique images. In the central paved square of the settlement is the church of Agios Panteleimon, the old school and a lot of traditional taverns.
